Expertise

Phil Johnson is a consultant in Pay Governance’s Detroit office. Phil has five years of HR consulting experience, including four years in executive compensation. Phil consults to compensation committees and senior management and has worked on a variety of projects, including executive and outside director compensation assessments, short- and long-term incentive plan designs, pay-for-performance analyses, peer group design and severance/change in-control liability calculations.

Previous Experience

Prior to joining Pay Governance, Phil worked as an executive compensation analyst at Willis Towers Watson and as an employee benefits consultant at Plante Moran.

Education

Phil graduated with honors from Central Michigan University, earning a B.S. in actuarial science and statistics.
