While at Cornell, Emily worked closely with Kevin F. Hallock, the current President of the University of Richmond. She researched celebrity compensation and how it differs from executive compensation, as well as emerging trends in labor economics. During her senior year, she worked part-time for Paramount Pictures in the Labor Relations department. Emily participated in helping her team prepare for COVID-related negotiations with both major studios and unions.
